THE BOOKPOINT set up its bookshop in Hyderabad in 1985. The intention was to ensure that the best books in most fields were made accessible to both the casual reader as well as the bibliophile.

The Bookpoint is a wholly – owned subsidiary of Orient Blackswan Pvt. Ltd., a group known for its commitment to the cause of education.

Our philosophy has been clear and consistent through the years:

We sell books at our bookshop published by all leading Indian and foreign publishers.

The books are displayed in a well-lit, spacious and orderly manner and every possible care is taken to make browsing a pleasure for our visitors.
