Lynx is based on a true story of a lynx cub, named Tiger-Lily in this book. Tashi’s father tries to sell the lynx cub to a trader who makes money out of selling parts of dead animals. Shocked and scared, the Tibetan boy holds on to the cub and runs away. Fortunately for Tashi and the cub, a tourist buys the lynx and takes it to Kathmandu.
SPICE, MARTIN, was born in England, until 1989, he taught English and English Literature in a number of schools in England. He is the author of two short books for children who are learning English as second language.
