The original editor of the book was V. Gopalan Nair, and the edition has been thoroughly revised and edited with introduction, notes and questions by Seetha Srinivasan.

Dr Seetha Srinivasan has had many years of teaching experience in Chennai at Stella Maris College. She now leads a retired life at Chennai.
